Reconciliation
To me, reconciliation means making a relationship whole. According to Confucianism, there are five key relationships in one’s life. They have helped define who we are today.

Trust and Faith
When it comes to Trust, it is easier to define it as something that can be calculated or proven. But the intangible side of trust is more interesting to me. I am thinking of faith.

Courage
Before we examine the subject of courage, we need to look at our fears. Talking about fear, I have a monkey mind sitting on my shoulder, with its arms crossed and saying, “Who do you think you are? Why would anyone read your writing?” Or “That is too dangerous. You might get hurt.”

Celebrating Easter
This is the season of renewal. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is promised to no one. The Buddha reminded us that what is real is the present moment.

Resilience
Amidst all the bad news every day, the sun still comes up in the morning. The birds are still chirping. There is plenty of beauty all around us. How can we hold both realities? It is not a choice between darkness and light because both realities exist at the same time.

Holding on and Letting go
We cannot turn back time but we can view this crossing in slow motion to be more aware of what we are holding on to and letting go of.
