RESTORING your

true self

In today’s modern world, it feels overwhelmed with plenty of negative news and challenges.  Climate disasters, wars, violence, economic struggles, corruption, and threat to democracy are just a few examples. On top of that, we have everyday life stresses like financial difficulties, troubled relationships, trauma, illness, death, and loss. The pandemic has further intensified feelings of loneliness and disconnection.  All these factors can erode our hope, trust, and sense of purpose, leading us to lose faith in humanity and struggle to stay positive.

I am here to remind you that despite the hardships, we were born into this world with innocence, purity, and innate goodness. However, somewhere along the way, many of us lose our sense of self.  I am here to help you in restoring your faith and finding your way back home to your true self.  Together, we will work on strengthening your resilience and reclaiming your true essence.  I am here as your companion, guide, and sounding board, offering empathy, unconditional regard, emotional support, and spiritual guidance.

Based on the person-centered principle, I believe that underneath the layers of emotional baggage, you know who you truly are and how you can become whole and lead a meaningful life again. I am here to support and empower you in reintegrating your broken and fragmented self, providing you with the strength and determination to live life to the fullest.

I understand that this work may not be easy.  Facing yourself can be painful and uncomfortable, requiring immense courage and perseverance.  However, the pursuit of your true self is worth every effort and struggle.

To facilitate this journey, I offer several approaches:

1.     Listening Salon:  Through one-on-one sessions, we will explore your life, understand your current life situation, determine your goals, and chart a path to achieving them.

2.     Listening Circle:  This circle provides a safe space for individuals to practice deep listening, share their struggles, discover common ground, and bear witness to one another’s experiences.  It fosters a loving and supportive community of peers. Circles can be formed around specific themes, such as Asian Pacific Islanders, LGBTQ+, healthcare workers, and caregivers for the sick and dying.

3.     Grief Group:  This group is tailored for those who are navigating the grieving process. Its purpose is to develop a support system within the group and equip participants with coping skills to manage their grief.

4.     Taking Stock:  This workshop is designed to help individuals take stock of their lives by reflecting on the lessons they have learned and re-defining their future directions.

5.     Trauma and Resilience:  This workshop series is intended for individuals who have experienced direct or secondary trauma.  Participants will find healing and acquire tools to care for themselves with the support of others.  Direct trauma can include trafficking, violence, disasters, or war while secondary trauma can affect first responders who assist others who are experiencing direct trauma.

6.     Use of Self: This workshop series is open to anyone interested in increasing their self-awareness, examining their lives, identifying blind spots, integrating who they are, and increasing personal growth.

Please know that I am here to accompany you on this transformative journey.  If any of these approaches resonate with you and you are ready to restore your faith and embrace your true self, please reach out to us.
